Gucci took a stand, and recently joined the Fur Free Alliance, banning the use of fur in all future collections. The Italian luxury brand has joined other top brands, like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren, in the fur-free group. Gucci’s president, Marco Bizzari, has also donated one million euros to UNICEF’s Girls Empowerment Initiative, to help with education for teenagers. The brand has also been monumental in gender diversity, with many senior positions held by women. Congratulations, Gucci, on giving back more than style.
