Cappy's Crabs is a recently opened crab shack offering jumbo, large, and medium blue crabs by the dozen and half dozen. Formerly the Japanese/French restaurant Crane & Turtle, Cappy's Crabs was transformed by designer Nick Pimentel into the Chesapeake Bay Crab House of the summer.
Picnic tables, fresh crabs daily, happy hour specials, Old Bay, Natty Boh, the patio, and loud music make up the unique and charismatic summer-time crab shack. Opened through Labor Day, Cappy's offers a variety of seafood including peel and eat shrimp, steamed clams, catch of the day fish, and mussels.
Cappy's Crabs is closed on Mondays, but is open Tuesday-Friday from 5pm-10pm, Saturday from 12pm-10pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm. Check out their menu on their website, and follow them on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to peep their mouth watering old bay crabs, happy hour specials, the fish of the day, and more!
