Gucci's Fall/Winter 2016 Campaign seeks to find the intersection between "the traditional and the hyper-modern" according to brand ambassador, Alessandro Michele.
To accomplish this, Gucci headed to Tokyo to use the bustling city as the backdrop for its short-film style campaign featuring photographer and model Petra Collins amongst a cast of other models.
The film sees the models taking over the city wearing bright, flowy pieces that seem to match the city's endless stream of energy; metallic pieces reminiscient of Spanish Matadors that create just as much clamor and glitz as Tokyo's arcades and obsession with celebrity. The collection becomes a part of its environment, but stands out beautifully, in a way that only Gucci can.
