WARRIORS TOO MUCH FOR CAVALIERS, TAKE GAME 1

The Golden State Warriors, lead by the play of their bench, cruised to a 104-89 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals despite poor shooting performances from both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. According to the box score, the Warriors bench trampled the Cavs 45-10 with Shaun Livingston's 20 points leading the way. Seven different Warriors scored in double figures while Draymond Green stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and four steals. The Big Three for the Cavs were solid in their defeat. LeBron James nearly posted a triple-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Kyrie Irving poured in 26 points and Kevin Love added a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. The Warriors seemed to have kept the momentum going Thursday night, clicking on all cylinders and quickly reminding the Cavs of why they're the reigning Champs. Game 2 picks back up on Sunday at Oracle Arena before heading to Cleveland for games 3 and 4.
