Yesterday the United Kingdom took to the polls for a historic vote over whether the country would "Remain" I'm the European Union or "Leave", the latter option being known infamously as "BREXIT." In a nearly split decision, 52% of voters opted to leave, this making the final call: The United Kingdom is no longer a member of the EU.
While most of the votes to leave came from the British countryside, Scotland and the city of London voted overwhelmingly to remain, noting that travel between countries and free migration would be seriously strained with a "Leave" decision. It is still unknown when all of the implications of the decision will go into effect, but there are major petitions being planned as well as protests to the decision, which some do not believe reflects the views of those accustomed to cultural integration and proponents of globalism.
