Masseria is a stylish, modern Italian restaurant located in Union Market. Chef and owner Nicholas Stefanelli brought the eatery to life in summer 2015 and gave it a sexy European vibe, which he describes as inspired by Sofia Loren.

Hidden behind a large, wooden wall, Masseria is an oasis of twinkly lights and an inviting courtyard with fire pits. The restaurant offers three-, four- and five-course dinner options with wine pairings, depending on the night of the week.

Also, First Lady Michelle Obama has been spotted at the chic restaurant three times, so you'll be among esteemed company when you dine here.

Masseria is open Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30-9:30 pm. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5-10 p.m.
