Millennial Impact Conference
The Millennial Impact Conference (MCON) 2016 is celebrating its sixth year running with a ton of cool nighttime events. MCON kicks off the week with its Opening Night Party, hosted by Case Foundation and Washington Life magazine at the Renwick Gallery in DC Tuesday night. Nylon Magazine, Rock the Vote and Tumblr are all hosting Wednesday night's CLUB MCON Party in partnership with Brightest Young Things, with food by STK and a performance by The Dolls. MCON bids DC goodbye on Thursday evening with the Closing Night MCON Block party, hosted by iHeart Media and Independent Journal Review. 24th annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle
Get ready for lots of samples at the 24th annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle. Teams cook off in categories including Pork Shoulder, Picnic, Beef Brisket and more. Considered one of the most interesting food and music festivals in the country, the 24th incarnation of the festival sparks its grills June 25-26 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
Taste of DC: Taste on Wheels
Taste of DC is bringing you the District's largest outdoor brunch with Taste on Wheels this Sunday, June 26. The event will have more than 20 food trucks, each with its own signature "taste" item, priced at $3 or less. Some of the trucks include the DC Taco Truck, Crab Cab, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
