Thanks to an artist that has adopted the alias Plastic Jesus, DC locals can now see the strategic placement of "No Trump Anytime" signs around the city. With the characteristics of a regular parking sign, he places "No Trump Anytime" underneath street signs to send a message to civilians during this shaky election season.
The Los Angeles based artist has no problem awaking DC locals to the reality of the 2016 election. Plastic Jesus told the Washingtonian, “I just think that the potential of Donald Trump becoming President of the US will have such a devastating effect on so many areas of life: on rights, freedoms, equality and so on". The artist goes on to say "I wanted the ‘No Trump’ sign to show this on a national basis.”
Planting his "No Trump anytime" signs in Los Angeles, and Chicago, he is on a mission to influence the minds of those passing by and hopefully drive people to make the right choice on November 8th.
Outside the Howard theater, The Capital building, and the old post office are some places where you can see these signs. Plastic Jesus has no problem letting his views be heard, after all we are entitled to freedom of speech, and he's expressing his through these signs. Well played.
The traction “No Trump Anytime” signs recieved, gave Plastic Jesus the idea to start selling them as personal souvenirs.
