Puff Daddy and Ty Dolla $ign have joined forces to create a clip for “You Could Be My Lover,” off of the Puff’s 45th birthday present to himself, last year's MM mixtape. The clip features Puff prancing around his backyard in a bathrobe to the tune of a voiceover telling a twisted fairytale story about a princess who turns down a prince’s hand in marriage. This week's final Event You Can't Miss, DC Chocolate Festival, was the first artisanal chocolate festival in the region. Hosted in Washington, DC, this event seeked to bring together both chocolate makers and chocolate enthusiasts for a day of tastings, educational micro workshops, and a keynote address. This week Made in the District is featuring Kelela as the local artist of the week. Kelela Mizanekristos, a first-generation Ethiopian American, was born in DC and is a vocalist and song writer. Kelela has toured with Solange, Inc, Teengirl Fantasy and Total Freedom and has caught the attention of several popular publications.
