The second weekend of Coachella was filled with surprise performances and dedications to the late and greatest Prince. From performances by Ellie Goulding to "When Doves Cry" and Sufjan Stevens and Gallant "Purple Rain" inspired performance that brought that house down. Even Coachella honored Prince by playing his cover of Radiohead's "Creep" from back in 2008, which was of course an epic festival moment in itself.
On the second day, there were surprised in store including SZA performance that brought out Kendrick Lamar which was a crowd favorite of course. Ice Cube's set allowed for a NWA reunion with "Straight Outta Compton" and "F*ck the Police" play including DJ Yella, MC Ren, and the crowd lost it when Dr. Dre came out as well.
On the final day, the cameos did not stop as well. Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar came out with a new artist Anderson.Paak leaving the crowd ready to know more about him. Usher and Vince Staples were also in attendance and did a "1999" and "I Would Die for You" tribute to the late and great Prince himself. Calvin Harris surprised the crowd with some of music's big names such as Big Sean and John Newman, and wowed everyone when he brought out Rihanna herself as they sang the popular track "We Found Love.:
