Kapnos is a modern Greek restaurant located on the 14th street corridor. Chef Mike Isabella opened Kapnos DC in July of 2013, drawing inspiration from travels to Greece to create a small-plate menu featuring spreads, breads, vegetables, and roasted meats. Mike Isabella is the owner of a handful of restaurants in the DMV and is a DC-based Chef and restaurater.

Kapnos is known for their two wood-fire grills with rotating spits and a large oven for stone-baked flat breads. Having a fully-stocked bar, Kapnos serves a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, kegged lemonades, house-made sodas and ice-teas, and a nice selection of beers and wine. 

Kapnos is open MON-WED 6-10pm / THUR 6-10:30pm / FRI-SAT 5-11pm / SUN 5-10pm & hosts a Happy Hour MON-FRI 5-7pm in the bar area; also serves Brunch on SAT & SUN 11am-3pm.
