Budding local accessory line DeNada is the go-to spot for men's and women's handmade knitwear.
The knitted accessories include a small variety of scarfs, hats and other wearable pieces. Prices range from $42 to $135 for the items currently on the site. Standout pieces include the Alpaca Knit Infinity With Two Thickness scarf and the Alpaca Oversized Collared Shawl Drop Stitch.
Started in 2005 by Virginia Blanca Arrisueño, DeNada combines a mix of inspirations from Arrisueño's Peruvian heritage and from her background in art. The New Jersey native received her BFA at the University of Maryland and currently resides in DC.
The brand initially sold handbags and t-shirts, but expanded to feature accessories. DeNada's items are sold on their online store as well as in select retailers both domestically and internationally.
