Watch Saba's Silent Film, "HeartStrings"

According to Saba, HeartStrings is "an open apology to the people that have been caught in a crossfire of unintentional wrongdoings." On her first silent film ever, Saba shows a young girl exploring DC with her head in the clouds and not a care in the world, representing "the true innocence of wandering through life without an inclination of what's to come." Skyla Ruiz, the young starlett of the video, visits The Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and The United States National Arboretum in the film. Directed by Maximillion Shelton, the film serves as a visual for Saba's title track with previously featured Millennial creator, Mikeyy. The frequent collaborators seem to have a groove going, so expect to hear more from them both in the near future.
