Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest Dead at 45

Rapper Malik Taylor, also known as Phife Dawg, died yesterday at the age of 45 from complications of diabetes yesterday afternoon. One of the founding members of A Tribe Called Quest Phife Dawg was a legendary name in the rap industry. Although he had been struggling with his type 1 diabetes for years, no one was prepared for him to lose the fight to it.

Many celebrities mourned the loss via Twitter when news broke of the death.
