LONDON: Once the tents at New York Fashion Week went down, the who's-who of fashion hopped across the pond to London town to peruse established and up-and-coming designers alike. London Fashion Week inauguration was in 1984 and ever since the city has made its mark on the fashion scene. This season was all about patterns, colors, and silhouettes from designers Preen, Burberry Prorsum, Topshop Unique, Christopher Kane and Peter Pilotto. As always, London's it-girls Alexa Chung, Cara & Poppy Delevingne, Kate Moss, and Jourdan Dunn were a front row mainstay at the hottest shows. Check out our favorite highlights of LFW below.
MILAN: Milan always offers a fresh perspective when it comes to fashion and this year was no different. Some of the most notable names in the industry showed off their fall/winter collection and many took note of the trends sure to takeover come fall. Prada showcased full-skirted dresses, waist-hugging corsets and fur-sleeved jackets that could cure any windchill. Gucci was a perfect mix of feminine, fun with billowing sleeved dresses and sequins and furs galore. Missoni stayed true to its roots and presented a collection that looked straight out of a '70s movie. The famous zigzag print adorned most of the pieces and introduced a new generation to an old staple. Take a look at photos from the shows below, plus some of our favorite looks off the runway too.
With Paris Fashion Week underway, we're looking forward to seeing what the Parisians have up their sleeve this coming fall/winter. The best of the best are showing during PFW including Rick Owens, Chloe, Balmain, Mui Mui, Givenchy, and so much more. We'll be waiting and watching to see who'll be front row and first to nab the exclusive pieces hot off the runway. Stay tuned.
