Although the Pro Bowl has a lot of rule changes compared to normal NFL games, you would expect the high caliber of talent would create a competitive, yet fun, game. It was surely fun, but competitive.......not so much. Michael Irvin's Pro Bowl Team destroyed Team Rice during this year's Pro Bowl 49-27.
Team Irvin had a full squad of talented quarter backs to help score seven touchdowns. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson lead the team with 164 passing yards and three touchdowns, earning the Offensive MVP Award. Teddy Bridgewater and Jameis Winston had also scored two touchdowns during the game to contribute to the win as well. Jacksonville's own Allen Robinson also lead the team with over 100 yards and one touchdown.
On the other side of the field, things didn't seem to go as well. QB's Buffalo Bills' Tyrod Taylor, NY Giants' Eli Manning, and Oakland Raider's Derek Carr accumulated a total of 6 interceptions for Team Rice. Carr was the only QB to score during the game. Kansas City Tight-End Travis Kelce became a crucial part of Team Rice with two crucial touchdowns.
Aside from the huge butt kicking on the field. One of the biggest stories of the game was about Charles Woodson and his last game as an NFL player.
