Also known as MERIMART, Merima Repesa is an artist straight out of Prince George's County, Maryland. Her theme in her work it so raise awareness of political, social and cultural issues going on in society in the DMV area. Drug abuse, feminism and police brutality are examples of some themes that she uses to her art work.
The Sucka Free Exhibit is MERIMART's debut solo exhibit set to premier on January 6th, 2016 at The White Room in Washington, DC. The exhibit will be a combination of DMV culture and propaganda in politics. Doors open at 7 pm and there will be a $7 cover charge at the door for those who didn't RSVP and $5 with an RSVP.
