Who knew Mondays could actually be enjoyable. The Kansas and Oklahoma game that took place Monday definitely made it one to remember. It was the first time since 2013 that a No. 1 and No. 2 team have faced each other.
No. 2 Oklahoma visited No. 1 Kansas for what would arguably be the best game of the young college basketball season. Oklahoma star guard Buddy Hield dropped an impressive 46 points but it wasn't enough to eclipse the Jayhawks in triple overtime. The final score was 109-106.
In the post game interview, Kansas senior forward Perry Ellis said "it was the toughest game he's played in".
