The third annual “POW! WOW! Exploring The New Contemporary Movement,” is back in Hawaii and will run from February 6 to February 13.
POW! WOW! Is a gathering that celebrates culture, music, and art. Since its conception, POW! WOW! has grown into a global network of artists. POW! WOW! organizes gallery shows, lecture series, schools for art and music, mural projects, a large creative space named Lana Lane Studios, concerts, and live art installations across the globe. The central event takes place in the Kaka’ako district of Honolulu, and brings over a hundred international and local artists together to create murals and other forms of art.
The festival has continued to expand over the years, and is now in cities and countries such as Taiwan, Long Beach, Israel, Singapore, Washington D.C., and more.
The roster for this year’s even includes Tristan Eaton, Kevin Lyons, Haroshi, Risk MSK, Estevan Oriol, and many more. To learn more about the festival, and to get a full break down of each event, be sure to visit POW! WOW!’s website.
