London's Saatchi Gallery premieres their newest and first female exhibit to celebrate their 30th birthday. "Champagne Life" features fourteen females artists talent using them to make an effort to repair gender inequality in contemporary art. In art, women have hurdles to leap and strides to take to set the bar high as men.
These women's work don't send an hard feminist message but they do show each artists individual talent, which is what these women are asking for. With nothing to tell that these are female artists (no glitter, ruffles), the main focus in their message is for their work to be recognized just as much as males works are recognized.
Champagne Life at the Saatchi Gallery in London will be open for viewing from January 13th through March 6th.
