Abby Wambach played her last game as a member of the U.S. women's national soccer team Wednesday night.
The 35-year-old two-time Olympic gold medalist and FIFA Women's World Cup champion made the decision to retire following Wednesday's game against China in New Orleans.
The 1-0 loss to China was the end of a 104-game winning streak on America's home turf and it signaled the end of an era with Wambach's retirement.
Wambach ended her 14 year career with 184 goals and 7 assists in 255 games.
