Two streetwear brands that are expressing powerful messages about police brutality in their collections are 424 on Fairfax and Glossrags. 424 is an LA based brand that just dropped “Post Apocalyptic Gardening” with t-shirts and hoodies depicting cops in full riot gear and attacking civilians. Glossrags is a brand based here in DC, whose collection “Stay Woke” has also brought awareness to the police brutality that’s affecting the black community. They’re most well known for their “and counting” t-shirts, bearing the names of 17 brothers who’ve lost their lives at the hands of police & vigilante justice violence.
