Artist Colette Miller is the creative mind behind the infamous blue, pink and purple angel wing paintings that continue to pop up in people's pictures. This is called the Global Angel Wings Project. Miller created this project in 2012 to remind humanity that we are the angels of this earth.
The paintings come in different shapes, sizes and designs and can be found all over the world. Exhibits are in South Africa, Australia, New York City, Virginia, Melbourne, Sydney, Greece, the District, Los Angeles, Mexico and more.
You can find D.C.’s wings at 1357 U St. NW and Virginia’s wings in Crystal City and Richmond.
