Thanksgiving events this week

Pete’s New Haven Style Apizza is celebrating Thanksgiving with seasonals pie made from roasted turkey, cranberries, goat cheese, pancetta and sweet potatoes from Monday through Wednesday and Friday, $3.50 a slice.

Want to attend a Thanksgiving party? On Wednesday at 10 pm come by Republic in Takoma Park and play some family games like Cards for Humanity, Monopoly, Life, and Balderdash, and a karaoke competition. The Admission is free.

Not satisfied with your Thanksgiving meal? Or simply want more? Come celebrate with restaurant, BLT Steak, who will continue the celebration the day after serving “leftovers” including popovers stuffed with Turkey, cranberries, potato puree, and rosemary gravy. Only this Friday, $10 per popover

DC Brau and Think Local First DC are hosting holiday marketplace on Saturday from 1 to 7 at Northeast brewery. There will be live music while customers shop from DMV-based artists. A great number of food purveyors will be present such as: Langdon Barrel-Aged Syrup, Real Sauce Company, Red Apron, and more. Local food trucks will also be available. Admission is free; food and drink prices vary.



Come out and have a low priced beer, wine or punch at Mango Tree’s  pre-holiday party on Wednesday from 11:30 am to closing. If you show up in Thanksgiving paraphernalia you will receive a free shot. A photo booth and a raffle for prizes will be present this day.
