Washington Nationals' outfielder Bryce Harper won the MLB National League's highest honor: most valuable player.
Harper received the MVP award Thursday night, which ended Harper's 2015 season with the Nats.
Harper brought the honor to the District for the first time in 90 years and for the first time in franchise history. The last MVP was Roger Peckinpaugh in 1925 for the Washington Senators.
The local sports world showed Harper lots of love after his achievement.
