As Thanksgiving rolls around the corner, our nation’s capital prepares itself for its annual Oyster Riot. Held on the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving every year, The Riot is DC’s highly distinguished food and wine event.
Each night of the event caters to nearly 10,000 people as they consume thousands of oysters while indulging in wine provided by the gold medal winners of the International Wines for Oysters Competition. With over 25 varieties of oysters and 10 gold medal wine winners to choose from, you will be hard pressed to find something you don’t find enticing. Relax and enjoy the delicious hors d’oeuvres, oysters, and wine while listening to live music provided by Music Maker Relief Foundation.
This party kicks off at 7:00pm each Friday and Saturday night at Old Ebbitt Grill, and lasts until 10:00pm. A Saturday Matinee is also available for those unable to attend the evening, and lasts from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. If you are interested in attending one of the greatest parties of the year in D.C., book your tickets now before they sell out.
