Three years after her sophomore album dropped, British synth-pop phenom Ellie Goulding is back with her third studio release, "Delirium." This album is definitely a step in a different direction than her previous work. The lyrics are some of Goulding’s most honest yet, and the overall sound is brighter than the somber tracks of "Halcyon." Employing famed pop songwriters like Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, each song has a catchy hook with light, ethereal production. What hasn’t changed, however, are her airy vocals and impressive range. Lucky for us, Goulding’s just announced she’s making a stop at Merriweather Post Pavilion next summer. Stream "Delirium" on Spotify below:
