Maryland and D.C. Football Had A Rough Weekend

Week six in the NFL regular season brought more heartache to both the Baltimore Ravens and Washington's football team. The Ravens and Washington's football team couldn't bring home the big W against the San Fransisco 49ers and the New York Jets, respectively. Washington's football team lost 20-34 against the Jets to bring their record to 2-4, and the 49ers dominated the former Super Bowl champs, who are now 1-4.

The Ravens loss was especially tough with former Baltimore wide receiver Torrey Smith playing against his old teammates following his new five-year contract with San Francisco. Washington's team continues to have a QB problem, first losing Robert Griffin III to injury and now having Kirk Cousins struggle to capitalize offensively.

The Ravens play the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium next Monday at 8:30 p.m., and Washington's football team goes head-to-head against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home Sunday at 1 p.m.
